Here's a useful update on KaratBars from my immediate upline, Suzanna:
When you buy a product package (bronze, silver, gold or VIP) you open up all 7 streams of income. We concentrate on just two streams though: the UniLevel and the Dual Binary (which is the most important).
The package purchase (upgrade) is a ONE TIME expense. But you do want to upgrade to VIP later on if you start with a smaller package. It isn't necessary, but the difference in commissions is worth it, for example you make almost 4x as much as a Silver when you cycle than you do as a Bronze.
The difference in levels is the amount of commissions in both unilevel (direct referrals) and binary system (all downline/spillover) for the same amount of "work".

Part of our 3 step plan is purchasing 1 gram of gold every week for 12 weeks (or 4 grams of gold once per month).
This creates the binary commissions and is where most of the residual income comes from.
